Overview
I have almost 20 years’ experience working directly with NHS and City Council Chief Executives, Service Directors and Senior Management, I am a confident and committed asset in any forward-thinking environment and an instigator of positive change.
I am an articulate and experienced communicator, and, as I come from both a Creative and Public Sector background my skills shine through in a unique way. I have been frequently tasked with bringing together Stakeholders across organizations to provide valuable Services. I have an eye for quality and detail and can carry out analysis of many types of Data, and thrive of qualitative information, when summarizing or reports. I pride myself in being a competent writer as it is what I do for pleasure and professionally.
I have extensive proposal writing, research and funding experience, utilizing marketing and communications as well as having the ability to make adhoc decisions, develop and support existing projects and roll out change. I am an advocate for Autism and social justice and am confident delivering presentations to large numbers in my role as presenter, and educator. I enjoy working in a team environment, but I am self-motivated and able to work autonomously. I also have a car and am able to travel between sites for meetings happily. I have a volunteer role within Worcestershire’s Parent Carer Forum as a member of the Steering Group, and am leading on Public Engagement for the Group. I find that having a flexible working style often suits both my own family and my job roles, as I understand the challenged faced by SEND families from personal experience, hence my passion for the delivery of good quality services.
